Gum Treatments

This section, called Periodontology, examines the structure of the soft (periodontal ligament, gum) and hard tissues (bone, cement) that surround our teeth, the diseases that occur in these tissues, and their treatments.

Healthy gums form the foundation of our mouth and teeth. Healthy gums are bright pink and tightly surround our teeth. If your gums are not healthy, it means our teeth are also at risk.
